To post a classified ad on this website, you must first create your login account. Once you've created your account, login by typing your username, password, and the access code (displayed below the password box) into the login box. Then, click the "Login" button.
| You may be wondering why there is an access code. This is to help prevent automated spam programs from creating fake accounts or logging in. Since the code in actually an image, only humans know what to type into the access box. |
Once logged into your account, you can choose to create a new listing, by clicking the "New Listing" link on the "My Account" page, or the "List an item" link on the menu above (only shown after you're logged in).
We charge a 1 Time fee to list each classified ad. You can find the prices that we charge on the Prices page. We offere multiple price plans, so you can always choose to pay for only the features you want. There are also other options you can choose to purchase for your ad, such as:
- Bolding - This bolds the title on your ad, when potential buyers are browsing the ads on this website.
- Better placement - This places your ad at the top of the search results, or when potential buyers are browsing the individual category pages.
- Featured Listing - Sort of like better placement, but with something a little better. This places your ad at the very top of the category page that the ad is listed in - IN IT'S OWN SECTION, SEPARATE FROM THE REST OF THE ADS, and also highlights your ad in yellow for the first day or so, to get more attention. We display a certain amount of featured ads randomly each time the page is loaded. This will bring the attention of buyers to your ad.
- Attention Getter - This allows you to purchase a mini "sign" to attract attention to your ad on the category browsing pages.
EDITING AN EXISTING AD
To edit your existing ad, first login to your account by typing your username, password, and access code into the login box. Once logged in, click the "My Active Listings" link on either the "My Account" page or the "Active Listings" link on the menu above (only shown when logged in).
Once you're on the "My Active Listings" page, find the ad you wish to edit, and button to the far right of your screen, underneath the "Edit" column. The button may resemble an eraser. That will take you to a page that shows you the details from your ad. Just click the "edit details" button below that information to go to the edit form. The edit form already has all of your ad information populated in it. Just make the necessary changes using the form, and when finished, click the "save changes" button at the bottom of the page.
ADD OR CHANGE PHOTOS
You now have the ability to not only add new photos to your ad, but you can also delete existing photos from your ad and replace them with new ones, or don't replace them at all.
To do this, click the "edit photos" button at the bottom of the ad details page, instead of the "edit details" button.
MARK EXISTING AD SOLDS
To mark an ad sold, on the "My Active Listings" page, click the button underneath the "Sold?" column, that looks like piece of paper with the top right corner folded down. You can always unmark your ad sold if you make a mistake, simply by clicking the red "sold" button that appears under the "Sold?" column.
REMOVE EXISTING AD
To completely remove your ad, you'll have to contact us and ask us to completely remove your ad. Please only do this if you haven't sold your item and don't want it listed anymore.
