| My name is Brandon Brown; I was the owner and operator of a custom bus conversion company “Dove Conversion†and now own and operate a custom commercial and residential cabinet business. About five years ago I was working on “one last coach†before getting away from busses. I took the project because it was the kind of project I liked to do. The owner of a Publishing company in Memphis, TN wanted a double decker coach with the best of everything. While we were working on the coach he had some financial problems and subsequently the bus got tied up in bankruptcy. Still unfinished it has been sitting in a lot in Memphis since then. He contacted me the other day and told me that he has control of the bus again but still does not have the funds to finish it. He asked me if there was any way to recoup some of the money that he had invested in the bus and systems. Here is a list of some of the details of what kind of conversion shell this is.
Completely redesigned and rebuilt Neoplan Skyliner (40ft double decker), 1982 Chassis, refurbished and skinned by factory in ‘97, rebuilt 8V92TA Detroit engine, rebuilt HT740 Allison Automatic transmission, all new dash, gauges, wiring, brakes, suspension, steering wheel, steering column and leather captains’ chairs. All systems are new and include: Aqua-Hot heat and water heater system with Webasto diesel fired burner; Wrico 20KW diesel, water cooled generator; 3000 Watt Trace Inverter; Stainless Steel fresh and waste water tanks; BigFoot 4-Point Hydraulic Leveling System; Two Coleman '2-Ton Plus' Air conditioners. Features include: 6ft4in head height upstairs and downstairs; French curve staircase; large bathroom with step down shower; sliding queen size bed frame; dual entry doors; spray foam insulation and accommodates a full-size two-door refrigerator. Exterior modifications include: 2000 model caps; headlights; bumpers; LED marker lights; and wheel covers. Exterior of conversion is mostly finished with trim and touch-ups needed. Interior is partially wired and plumbed.
